Luc Schlangen is senior scientist and program manager for light and health for Philips Lighting. Luc is an active member of various international committees on the topic of light and health.
Vice-chairman Ir. H.A. Bouma
Hessel Bouma is director of Spur Management BV and also holds various supervising and administrative positions. Until 2008 he was working for Philips as General Manager Vitality Care and Senior Director Consumer Healthcare Solutions. Hessel Bouma is one of the founders of SOLG and managed for a long time the development of innovative "light & health" concepts, like the Philips EnergyLight, the Innergize and the Wake-up Light.
Secretary Dr. Ir. M.B.C. Aries
Myriam Aries works in the Energy, Comfort and Indoor Climate Group of TNO Built Environment and Geosciences. After her master-thesis on daylight and visual comfort at the TU Delft, she preformed a study on the visual and non-visual light needs of people and the realisation of healthy lighting for her PhD at the TU Eindhoven. Her knowledge has been increased during a two-year post-doc in the lighting group of NRC in Canada.

Mariëlle is Assistant Professor at the faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning of the TU Eindhoven
Director A.M.C. Schoutens
Toine Schoutens works for Davita Nederland BV in Eindhoven. He is a psychiatric nurse and specialised in light therapy for psychiatry and dermatology. Besides he works a a teacher at the Netherlands School of Public and Occupational Health (NSPOH) in Amsterdam. He is member of CIE, the committee for light and health of NSVV (Nederlandse Stichting voor Verlichtingskunde), the KNZB (Dutch Swim Association) and the TVM Skating Team.

Committee member Dr. V. Hommes
Vanja Hommes is Senior Application Scientist at Philips Consumer Lifestyle in Drachten. She is working on the influence of light on people. She got a PhD at the University of Dortmund for her work on ultrashort laser ablation at the Institute of Analytical Sciences in Dortmund.
Vanja Hommes is the Dutch representative in the MT16 working group of TC61 van de International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Committee member J. Keirsmaekers
Judith Keirsmaekers works for ETAP Lighting. She holds a position as marketeer and sales manager professional lighting for more than 15 years. She has specialised in ergonomics, energy saving and the combination of daylight and electric lighting.
Committee member Prof. ir. W.J.M. van Bommel
Wout van Bommel has worked for Philips Lighting until 2009. He is visiting professor for lighting at Fudan University in Shanghai, China and independant lighting consultant (van Bommel Lighting Consultant).
Wout van Bommel is working in lighting for over 30 years and for more than 10 years on the subject of light and health.
Honory committee member Prof.dr.ir. S.H.A. Begemann
Ton Begemann is emeritus professor practical lighting at the TU Eindhoven, retired Senior Vice-President at Philips Lighting, Eindhoven. He is working in the field of research of light and health for more than 15 years.
